Welcome to Faithful ("the App"), a Bible study and spiritual growth app developed by Jeremy Hermanns / Walk Faithful LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Faithful is an iOS app designed to help you engage with Scripture through daily Bible readings, personalized reading plans, and an AI-powered chat assistant named Faith. The App uses public domain Bible translations including the King James Version (KJV), World English Bible (WEB), American Standard Version (ASV), and Bible in Basic English (BBE).
Faith is an artificial intelligence assistant, not a human being. Faith is not a pastor, priest, counselor, therapist, or licensed professional of any kind. While Faith is designed to offer thoughtful, Scripture-based responses to your spiritual questions, it is a software program powered by AI.
When you use the Faith chat feature, the text of your messages is transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI processes your messages to generate responses but does not retain them for model training under our API agreement. No personally identifying information is attached to these requests.
Responses generated by Faith are for spiritual reflection and informational purposes only. They should not be treated as authoritative theological doctrine, pastoral counseling, or a substitute for guidance from a qualified pastor, spiritual director, or faith community.
AI can make mistakes. We encourage you to verify any Scripture references or theological claims and to seek guidance from your church, pastor, or trusted spiritual advisors for important matters of faith and life.
Nothing in the App — including content generated by the Faith AI assistant — constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call emergency services immediately. The App is not a substitute for professional care of any kind.
Faithful offers premium features through auto-renewing subscription plans:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The subscription will begin billing at the end of the free trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial expires.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that time. We do not process refunds directly — all refund requests must be made through Apple.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect for the next billing cycle following notice, and you will have the opportunity to accept the new pricing or cancel before it takes effect.
You agree to use Faithful in a manner consistent with its intended purpose as a Bible study and spiritual growth tool. You agree not to:

All other aspects of the App — including but not limited to the app design, user interface, graphics, branding, the "Faithful" name and logo, and original content — are the property of Walk Faithful LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute these elements without our prior written consent.
Content generated by the Faith AI assistant is provided for your personal use. We make no claim of ownership over AI-generated chat responses.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Walk Faithful LLC, its owner, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.
Faithful offers Sign in with Apple as an optional authentication method. When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may share your name and email address (or a private relay email address) with us. We use this information solely to identify your account within the App. You may choose to use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature to keep your real email address private. The App relies on third-party services (OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Walk Faithful LLC and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of California.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Walk Faithful LLC regarding your use of the App.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
